The Origin
The FOARM story began in 1985 when John Chase explored and expanded the production capabilities of traditional "cut and sew" carrying cases.

John's goal was to produce a case that would combine the aesthetics of "wrinkle free" contoured shaping with the practicality of protection from harsh environments.

His efforts were rewarded when he filed the original patent for molded woven fabric & foam tri-laminate.

Together with Ted Swift's business acumen, they partnered to found FOARM (pronounced "form") in 1989.
